How is overtime pay calculated?

Overtime pay is calculated by multiplying your regular hourly rate by an overtime multiplier. While time and a half (1.5x) is most common, some employers offer double (2x) or triple time (3x). You can also set a custom multiplier by selecting 'Other' in the overtime multiplier dropdown.

How are standard monthly hours calculated?

For a full-time employee, standard monthly hours (173.33) are calculated by taking weekly hours (40 hours ร— 52 weeks = 2,080 hours per year) and dividing by 12 months (2,080 รท 12 = 173.33 hours per month).
